               Women empowerment in Great                       India

“Women is the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world”

we all do talk about the "Women Empowerment" but how many of us actually give a serious attention.

One of the first things which come to our minds after listening to the title are the hyped virtual campaigns which claim to work for the empowerment of women at every level. Am I not right here ????

Clearly this our fault, infact majority of people in India are not able to see beyond these apparent campaigns which are filled with much publicity and glamour.

We only see Bollywood actresses are "Empowered Women" !!
Sad :( but this is the reality folks.

TIPS FOR PROTECTING YOUR CAR DURING COVID-19

Run the Engine Regularly

First of all do not leave it parked for long if it is your old car. Run the engine a few times a week, say once after every three days.

Doing this for five to ten minutes will be sufficient to keep your car in great condition.

Doing this for five to ten minutes will be sufficient to keep your car in great condition.

Clean the Vehicle

Hey folks please ensure that it is clean even if you do not drive it.

Over time, the vehicle will get dirty, and you do not want to let it remain this way for long. Wash it after some time so that the dirt collected from the parking cannot stick.

Clean the Cabin

The interior part of your car is easy to forget about. This is the time that bacteria can thrive in the cabin. ( CLEANING INTERIOR IS VERY CRUTIAL THESE DAYS)

You can buy professional cabin cleaning detergents online.

How do I check to see if my car’s oil needs to be changed ?

1. Check Engine or Oil Change Light

The most obvious alert that there’s an issue with your oil will come from the car itself. The oil change light in your vehicle will illuminate when there’s not enough oil in the system, so check the dipstick to see what’s happening

2. Dark, Dirty Oil

Clean oil is amber in color and slightly translucent. As it is used, it becomes filled with particles collected from the engine and turns darker.

3. Excessive Mileage

f you’ve traveled a lot of miles in the last month, consider whether you need an oil change sooner than your normal schedule. Every car is different, but most should have their oil changed every 3,000 miles or three months.

4. Oil Smell Inside the Car

If you smell oil inside the car, it can often signify an oil leak. If you also smell gas or exhaust fumes, the vehicle may be overheating. Either way, you will want to schedule maintenance immediately.

    Products You Should Keep in

               Your Vehicle

1) A bottle jack is a lot more compact and can get your vehicle off the ground a lot more quickly, provided you're jacking it up at a safe jack point on the frame. As always, be safe and never get under a vehicle that's only supported by a jack! Also, make sure you've got the lug wrench too — the jack won't do you much good without it.

2) First aid kit: it's a really good idea to at least have a kit that can help take care of a scrape, minor burn, laceration or other injuries.

3) Emergency triangleIf you're stranded by the side of the highway, you really want to make sure other people know you're there.

Covid-19 Vintdon update

We will remain open at this time but with necessary precautions as Vintdon can never compromise anybody's health.

We are estimating the impact of COVID-19 and making tough decisions for the health of our team, our greater community, and our financial well-being. I realize we are not alone and you may be personally sharing the same or similar anxieties about the current and future state.

Hey Folks do not worry because:

1. Our team has been instructed to follow careful sanitation guidelines and notify us of their own exposure so we can remain transparent to our clients.

2 .We understand and fully support social distancing to keep our communities safer. We are implementing precautions to limit interactions including CLOSING OUR WAITING ROOM. We will only accept the vehicle key through the night dropbox.

3. We will communicate with you over the phone, through text or through Shopware. When your vehicle is ready for pick up, we will lock/unlock your key in the car for access and take payment over the phone.

4. We are reducing expenses of our services as we know this pandemic has hit all of us pretty hard.

5. At this time, we have been able to retain our entire staff and we will continue to support them as much as we can for as long as we can as all depend on us for their livelihood.

winter vehicle care tips

Although the weather is slowly warming, we’re not out of the woods yet when it comes to winter threats to our vehicles. Between cold commutes and icy mornings, it’s especially important to take extra care of your vehicle this time of year.

1. Check your wipers.

Wiper blades can get weak and fragile and break apart over time. The strain of pushing ice and snow off your windshield can be too much for your wipers at times. Take a look at your wipers. If they look dry and rough, replace them with new, quality blades.

2. Check your coolant level.

Make sure you have the proper antifreeze levels in your system to avoid your coolant freezing and causing engine problems such as a cracked block. Also, if your coolant level is too low, you aren’t getting circulation to things like your heater core, causing your car’s heating system to not work properly. Allow an experienced technician to inspect your cooling system and heater in order to avoid future problems.

3. Take extra care of your battery.

Your vehicle’s battery is one of the most basic, but most vital, components of your car. Battery issues can cause multiple problems throughout your vehicle. Extreme weather conditions can quickly kill a weakened battery with little to no warning. A weakened battery can also create performance issues or cause your engine light to come on.

COMMON CAR NOISES AND THEIR CAUSES

Tire Noise
It’s important to be able to understand not just that your tires are making some kind of strange noise, but what that noise is and what it might mean for your car’s health.

Humming Noise
To prevent uneven tire wear, you should regularly get your wheels rotated and have a wheel alignment performed routinely. This will balance out the natural discrepancies in wear over time.

Brake Noise
Another very common class of abnormal car noises are noises that occur when you’re braking. If you’re hearing strange sounds as you brake, that’s probably an indicator of an issue.

Rattling
If you hear a slight rattling sound when you let up on the brakes, this may not mean you have a problem with your brakes. Brake pads expand due to the incredible heat generated by friction, and a little rattling may be normal due to natural movement of the brake pads.

Suspension Noise
One of the more common suspension noises comes when driving over a speed bump, pothole, or any other bump in the road. You might hear a clunking or knocking noise. There are several possible culprits for a noise like this.

Still these things are bothering you..... Don't worry people .. Keep faith in VINTDON store. Get it checked at our premises.
